TG1860 deck

Hi all, new to the forum. Just picked up a used tg1860. Good running little tractor, needs a little tlc. Someone stripped the threads for the grease fitting that's in the top of the big nut that's down in the deep center pulley on the deck. I'm thinking of pulling the nut off to retap the threads. Does this nut set the preload for those bearings and if so does anyone have the torque spec? Does anyone have another source for them other than the dealer? Any help much appreciated.
