Congrats on the Bota purchase! Where are you from in VA? I live in Dinwiddie County which is an hour SW of Richmond give or take a few. I'm in the process of talking to Steve Carver about 3 different tractors. I currently have a Kubota BX22 and need a little bigger tractor without a hoe. Fill in your profile so we can get info on ya! Hey Chris,
I'm in southern Suffolk, near the Carolina border. Carver is where I purchased my tractor from. I tried the two dealers in my area and I didn't like working with either one (one I had heard some not so good things about). Decide to give the Internet a try. The advice I took most to heart from this board was to be comfortable with your dealer. I worked with Jonathan but have spoken to Steve and Al. Nothing but positive things to say about dealing with them. Tractor should arrive mid-week and I'll be ready to put in some fence poles (using a friends auger).

Your only about 50 miles or so from me. I live right off of RT. 460. I'll probably end up with either a Kubota 3130 gear drive, Kubota L3000DT or a Kioti 3054. The options will be a loader with hooks welded on and possibly a 72" rear finish mower. I have a 48" boxblade, 5' rear blade and 48" bushhog. They will be a little small for the new tractor but I'll make it work. One word of caution. Please be careful with the auger. A friend of mine at work lost his arm while using one. He got off the tractor to apply some downpressure while digging and it ate his arm. He was 1/2 mile from his house in the middle of a field putting in fence posts. He is ok now (- one arm).
