The long and short of it is that the cost of a ROPS is more than pocket change, but not the stuff mortgages are made of either. I hear folks say "I'm really cautious", "My ground is too flat", and on and on. I sincerely suspect that most operators of tractors that suffered a rollover never suspected it was going to happen. Point being, believing it won't happen is not prevention. It's just one of those things that is so survivable in almost every instance with a properly installed ROPS, and yet fatal an incredible percentage of the time without a ROPS. Even if you are willing to take the risk for yourself, and no one else operates the tractor, how would your death or serious injury to you impact others in your life?

There is not a lot of markup in these items...less % wise than in most parts. And I know most of you realize we have to have a margin to at least cover operational expenses or we cease to exist. However.....in an effort to help everyone add this important safety feature, we will offer the following: for the month of February we will discount the ROPS units $50 each IF ordered in pairs or more....and they can be shipped to multiple locations (obviously we will charge the shipping for each location). So find a buddy, both of you order a ROPS (yes, one can be for your 1810 and one for your buddy's 2500), and we'll discount each ROPS by $50. Please don't make this complicated for us, because if we have to spend extra time with this, we'll drop it. One call or email or fax from one person....order two ROPS sent wherever....both to you, one to you and one to your friend...either way...and save. If you want a shipping quote first (and I understand this, one has to budget for expenditures) PLEASE email the particulars....which ROPS and where they are going. This lets us run shipping quotes as we have the time. If going to multiple addresses, please make it clear which ROPS goes where. And yes, payment has to come from one source too.

The shipping situation has gotten a little better too. Just shipped one to Washington State for $145, Kansas for $62.

What I can say first hand is that the ROPS we sell are certified to OSHA standard 1928.52.

THANKS!

If there is someone in the Blacksburg, Roanoke, or Princeton WV area that would like to buddy up on the LMTC offer, shoot me a P.M.
