I just finished tilling about 3.5 acres of ground today. MAN....the KK tiller (5 footer) is the real deal. I did not expect the tiller to perform so well....over rocks, sod, stumps, HEAVY wood trash, brush, etc etc etc. Me and this tiller are gonna get along just fine. The tiller performed excellent.....getting penetration in my soils up to the skids....or the tiller hubs....on the first trip. (I have pretty sandy soils). I operated mostly in 2nd gear, low range.....but could get up a gear in some soils.

Now I see why you guys sing the tiller praises....it beats the subsoiler and disc hands down....at least in my soils and IMHO. Way cool. :D:D

Yes Foggy, tillers are nice tools. I have a JD, way too light. It is a 6+ft behind a 50hp. I wish I had gone the extra and picked up a kuhn or a another gear drive unit.

I'm looking forward to using my power tiller to set up an area to grow some crops, landscape work, etc. When I chose it as part of the tractor package, I knew it was an expensive option but I was pretty sure that it would be worth it. I'm glad to hear that others feel the same way, too.
