Yea, I'm afraid if there was one it would not be in the circuit long. Probably need to short that switch out, rather than cut the wire though. My guess is that kind of interlock circuit uses normallly open contacts that are closed when the switch is pushed...
My old garden tractor had a stupid feature, it would not cut in reverse and if the mower was running and you shiften into reverse, the engine shut down...that lasted about 10 minutes after I got it home...
