****. Sorry you had to go through that. One thing I do to my containers (some come this way) is take some 10 ga (1/8"" or thicker) steel and weld up a little lock-box that shrouds the padlock itself to prevent them from taking bolt cutters to the lock. The little "box" is on the three exterior sides and leaves only the bottom end access to the keyway open. You can really get SILLY about protection if you like. One contractor-friend got tired of things "walking away," so we built a false-end in the back (no way to tell unless you ran a long tape on the inside) using a cruddy container being sold for scrap because it was damaged. I imagine you don't necessarily need the corrugated type ends to disguise your false-end but anyhow..... we just ran a regular extension cord to it with the earth dug down a little and entered the container through a grommet in the bottom. There was also a battery-back up using several car batteries and an interter in case the cord was disconnected/stolen etc, or if there was just a cooincidental power outage. Laptop computers are getting cheap. For this system, you'll need that and a wireless card (Verizon has them as do most wireless carriers). We ran a 20' pole up from the top of the container and disguised security cameras under the floodlight set up (ironically, the flood lights weren't even operational in our set up although it would not be hard to do). There was already additional lighting at night on this job. The contractor could now dial up the cameras from anywhere! he could be in his office, at home, anywhere and view the cameras and see who was doing what and sitting on their butts and even people there that werent supposed to be, etc. I dunno if this would help you as you are pretty removed from civilization there, electricity, etc. I know one member suggested a deer-camera. Sounds like a heckuva idea to me although if the bad-guys saw a "flash," they might just tear up your camera.. You'd have to disguise it and use infared I guess (sorry, not familiar with the game cameras.
