Still have my records. Never bought many tapes, but i recorded my records onto cassette tape, and seldom played the records.

When cds came out, players were very expensive. I waited till a one disc player was < $100 before going the cd route. Most of my cds are 70s music, and most of alabama and George strait.

Most cds now ripped to mp3s.

Was looking at my records this week, got some id like to have as mp3.

Who still has their collection... and when was the last time you spun some vinyl?

I hadn't had a working turntable in years, then one day my Wife brought home one of those little Victrola players that's a radio/cassette/CD/record player combo. I pulled out a random piece of vinyl and played it ... Stanley Clarke's School Days. It was awesome. Still have a pile of vinyl I bought in the '70s and early '80s before delving into CDs. Most of it I've replaced over the years with CDs, but some I have not. Nice to listen to those again.

Doffy if you're a Tommy James fan check him out on u-tube at the "Bitter End" . Done live in the mid 90's I believe. Very good.

Haven't noticed any warps yet. Been stored in the attic in 2 3' high stacks. Maybe the weight kept them flat. Guess they've been up there for 20 years or so.

I just read about Jim Rodford passing. Wow, 1964, "She's Not There", though as I understand it, Jim did not play in the Zombies at that time but did have an active role in promoting the band?
