We saw the Stones last October in Pittsburgh. RIP Charley Watts. They did a nice tribute to him, and as usual, it was a great show with an audience from about 9-90 years of age.
Did they make allowances for walkers and wheelchairs? :D

Took my teen daughters to see the Stones play Oakland Coliseum, some 20 years ago.

The little one: "Daddy! I didn't know someone so old as you could dance like that!!!"

Thanks kid. I guess. :p

We’ve seen them 4 times. 80’s, 90’s, 2015 in Indy at the 500 track on the 4th of July, and last October. Took our kids to the last two. So teens and 20s. They had a blast both times. So did we.

Not too many groups that can get a crowd of 1,000,000+ jumping… let alone groups from the 60s.

Saw yesterday that Hammond organ legend (and trumpeter) Joey DeFrancesco died on Thursday at 51.

Loretta Lynn passed today. Saw her in concert at least once, and toured her house in TN.

She was a grand old lady. I grew up listening to "Blue Kentucky Girl", and the rest of her album of that title.

I saw her and Willie in Santa Fe NM way way back when. I remember some of it, the rest was a smoky haze. (We all have a past, lol)

My biggest regret though, was not going to see Pink Floyd when I had the chance…… IMO, they were the greatest rock band in the history of this planet. But I did meet Roger Waters once and got his autograph, that makes up for it a little bit.

That describes far more of my early '80s concert experiences than I care to admit.
