I'm a few months younger than Mick. Retired at 54. Still live comfortably. (See the current retirement thread).

He's just doing it for fun! Sir Mick is worth a half billion $.

What amazes me is his gymnastics onstage. I was up and down a tall orchard ladder for hours yesterday with a heavy harvest bag, like a newsboy bag. Lots of off-balance reaching to get that last apple without moving the ladder. Today I'm sore. The way he jumps around at 79 is incredible.

I agree 100%. He’s 16 years older than me, yet I couldn’t do what he does.

Then there’s all of the drugs those guys did in their younger days…

Well, we did notice that after the opening set last October, maybe 2-3 songs in a row, he stopped, grabbed a bottle of water, sat down in front of the drums, had a couple drinks, took a few large breaths, and gave the crowd a smile and a look that said man, I'm not getting any younger. Like WHEW! :ROFLMAO: Then he got up and did some more. Wife said he slowed down a bit. I said we should be so lucky in 18 more years! ;)
