BMan2005--that is a beautiful job. Great demonstration of what that tractor can do.

Thanks alot sixdogs. This is start to finish, I went back cross ways with the land rake to gather a few more small roots and level. After smoothing the big burn with the bucket I did manage to grub a few last stumps. Amazing what can hide in all that ash.

BTW, tractor is out. Took some persuasion pulling it out, but we managed.

I am glad everything is working out with the dealer and the tractor exchange. I would still want to understand how/where the fluid leaked to the transmission in case there is a tendency for that later (post warranty). Nice tractor! Congratulations!

Found out it was the pump causing the issue on that tractor. It's the only way the steering system can leak into the trans, so at least I know now if it ever happens on this one down the road.

Btw, have 37 hrs already on the new unit without a single issue and working hard. Bought a set of older 8' Taylor way disk harrows very stout design with 22 (two missing) 20" disk at 9" spacing, pulls them without a problem buried to the axles.

NICE. Any more pictures?

Sure man!

I plan to completely restore the disk harrows after this winter. Have 7.5 more acres to finish clearing and put back into field/pasture after they stump it so figured I would wait until after that's done. Used them last week to disk in my lime & fertilizer and just planted Oat & Rye on the 2.5 acres for the horses this winter. Also built me a rear ballast. The picture of the hydraulic fittings is just to share my bad, got in a hurry switching implements to get some hay off the trailer, was on the phone with work, and forgot to unhook my 3rd function lines..... Cheap lesson luckily.

Impressive, great job in turning that into pasture/field. It isn't easy.

Started on road #2. Had a ton of logging debris to clean out the way. Having my grapple would have been convenient, but you work with what you have at the time.
