( I can second that, we underflow attachments like that all the time. They just run a bit slower. Being just over 2gpm low is not a big deal at all, if this was on a standard L without the three hyd pumps then I'd question it.

If you need high speed than a smaller PHD might be a good idea. If you need raw power to rip roots and tough soil I'd stick with what ya got. )

So the X1975 will be more powerful on the L48 than the smaller units, even though the flow is slightly less than called for? I don't mean to sound stupid or repetitive, I just want to make sure I get optimum performance, and if the bigger unit will outpower the smaller one with the L48's hydraulic capabilities, then it's the bigger one that I want. Tony, and others who may have an L48.

Check the front steering linkage covers. I got mine and another persone I know got his from the dealer without lower axel bolts. The axel is bored and treaded for them and the cover has the holes but no bolts. This makes the covers easy to bend in brush or other sapplings. I bent mine till I got bolts for them and now-no trouble. The other guy has had big trouble with his dealer not fixing it and holding his machine for weeks without the fix? Mazzerks (spelling) is one place I doubt a customer would have this sort of trouble. If this guy in California is really having this issue ( I believe he is), the dealer is bad news.

Just check for it before you use the machine and make sure they are there, then there would be no trouble.

I was wondering when you were going to get it.

Get a good grease gun and a case of grease- use it alot.

Also get some fuel cans that are easy to use on the hood or transport pump system.

I'm back, and my brand new L48 is dominating the middle of my lawn, lurking like a hungry tiger, and stopping all the local traffic /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I unloaded it a few hours ago, and can't wait for daylight tomorrow so I can get out and play /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

( The pricing is very regional.

In this months issue of Midwest Equipment Advertiser has an L48 in Lena, Wi. at D@B Equipment for 33550. Really. It is new. I have no idea why so low? I am surprised it is still there? )

The local Deere dealer has a 110 with 4n1 FEL bucket, boom auger, work group lights, and 20" quick attach hoe bucket for $33,990. Now seems like a real good time to get these types of machines. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
