Jeff, just for the record, I agree that you have a right to your opinion. The management of this site wants members and solicits your membership (membership + sponsorship + adds = money); therefore I believe you have the right to express your opinion on this site, especially on matters that affect you and other members. Having said that, my previous post still holds...namely, that the management of this site is completely within their purview to run it any way they please within the law.

Love it. Never had one before, so I have a lot to learn. I guess I came to the the right place, no one here was to shy to tell me what they think. I have 65 acres, using it for brush hogging, snow plowing and wood.

That is of course correct, but being correct is not a prerequisite to obtaining your goal...ask me how I know...I've fought that battle on another forum; as it turns out, the man with the fuzzy kahunies...the stud duck...the man who owns and operates the website has the last say, and since it's his ball game, he calls it as he sees it. If he takes a vote or askes for input, I'll be glad to contribute...but in the meantime, as the old saying goes, we're screwed, blued and tattooed. I decided on the other site, that I had to acknowledge his omnipotence or bow out. I did the latter for awhile, and then returned, hat in hand, tail between my legs, and dripping with contrition, accepted my place in the pecking order.

Being aware of the thread that was removed, and reading this one, I find this post well put...and ironic.

It might have served as a good illustration, and could have been thought provoking in the removed thread...had it been posted there, in the context of that discussion. It would have been a new direction, but in the same arena. And all participants would probably have had a different take on it.

I don't think it would have brought harmony to all of us with strong convictions and thoughts...in very different directions.

But, it might have been interesting.

Tractors are cool. Everyone here is great.

About 22 are wood and I rent about 35 to a local farmer, i'm not making money but I like it being used. The rest is house and yard. Thanks for the welcome.
