Seems to be a few hate threads on this site so I thought I would add a few of my own hates. :):):):):)

1. Hammers-really a love hate relationship. Couldn't be without my several different kinds of hammers but hate them when they turn my thumbnail black and make me do the ooh-aaw dance with my hand between my knees.
2. The easy mount receiver hitch for the snow plow on my RTV. Easy my ***, I think I will go All hydraulic, no electric/ hydraulic lifts that you work on more than use.
3. The plastic that tools and other items are shipped in. I have hurt myself more trying to open those stupid plastic blisters than I have with my hammers.
4.Why do they put cup holders on tractors behind you where you can't see them or use them.

Well I think that's enough hate for one evening, we are getting heavy snow right now and several more inches tomorrow. Should be some fun firing up the equipment and digging out the neighbors. Have a good one!

Hate is not strong enough. I choose dislike.

"I like something or someone." No explanation needed.

"I don't like something or someone." That's because I am not familiar enough with something or someone. Nothing personal, I just don't have enough information to say "I like xxx."

"I dislike something or someone." Now I have enough information to make a judgment call.

dis·like
/disˈlīk/

I hate assembly instruction sheets, they can be confusing and misleading and add many hours to a project, Just yesterday I was at one of my wifes friends house, Helping her with a punch-out list of things, her husband works out of state and she needing things done around the house for the holidays,
she had a steal shelf unit needing assemble, said that she and her husband tried themselves a couple times and could not do it, she handed me the instructions and said I'll be needing them, I took one look and threw them down,
Told her trying to assemble with instructions was her problem, 5 minutes latter I had the shelf unit assembled, she couldn't believe it, said that her husband work on it for 45 minutes and got aggravated with it, she tried again for 30 minutes and give up, I rarely use the instruction for anything more than to Identify which bolts are intended to go where,

How much extra hardware you end up with? I dislike immensely when you don't get any instructions

Multiple times.

Add to the list the non-locking jack knives that fold up in use and those larger jaw "water pump" type pliers that pinch your hand or fingers when they unexpectedly close. Also add the Chinese vise grips that won't unlock when you want them to.

Its not left over hardware! Its profit! Less nuts bolts and screws you have to buy for the next job!

I like his answer:D
....................................................................................................

It does help to have a basic knowledge on how things are assembled before getting started, only left over parts are the ones where was an option, or a couple spare bolts/nuts been thrown in for safe measure,;)

I've always had this thing about me that comes natural, to be able to look at something and understand the way it is built / put together, My mother said it started with me when I was about 4 years old, for some reason I had took interest in a alarm clock, I disassemble it and put it back together and it actually worked,
Though that was over 50 years ago... ;)
