I think if the authorities ever wanted to interrogate someone, subjecting them to reading posts by HenryIV would be more effective than waterboarding.:duh:

I agree that through bolt is a better concept. If I bend or break that c-channel I might upgrade. I decided not to put rippers on the box blade because the rippers would cost me $40 each at retail, or twice as much as my materials investment in that implement. Better for me just to make a few more passes with the subsoiler and then push the dirt around after it's busted up. Where I live, the clay is baked and compressed pretty hard so you're not going to just drive that blade down and get a bite, at least it didn't work on my trial run last night. Time will tell if those welds hold and it the gadget moves dirt well. It will be used for some simple terracing and leveling of a raised bed garden as soon as the water line is marked.

DCEN is OK for 7024 but not for 7018. I think if the authorities ever wanted to interrogate someone, subjecting them to reading posts by HenryIV would be more effective than waterboarding.:duh:

The only good thing out of Alberta is Neil Young....

On second thought you can have him back and Justin Bieber too.

Is that concise enough for you?

Neil Young's a hypocrite and Bieber's an idiot. They can stay there. Do read you read your posts before posting them? "Mind numbing" is an appropriate term.

With hard packed clay, I would suggest adding the rippers. Clay takes a tremendous amount of ripping force to free up. You will be changing implements constantly between the subsoiler and box blade. Even if you had just two rippers on the box blade, it would be a time saver over the subsoiler. Just a thought...

Aw, c'mon SA, not everyone is taciturn and grizzled enough to get away with the few words you use, ole Hank justt has the gift of gab, and I'm one of the folks here who enjoy his use of hyperbole and humor.

Hank, those are hyperbole and humor you're using, aren't they?

Keep on burning and posting!
