There is a new breed or rakes on the market now, and they are ready to get to work on your horse arena. Designed to cultivate, level and harrow horse riding arenas, the Jake Rake will provide that good footing that your horses dream of. It all starts by the scarifier teeth which will break down hard packed soil. Spring tooth harrows can get hung up on hard packed clay and create chunks of earth that pay a toll to good footing. The Jake Rake is fully adjustable, the scarifier teeth are pined on and can easily be moved up or down for deep tillage or grading the arena. Competitor products feature bolted on shanks that require tools and time to move up and down. Also, The Jake Rake offers infinite adjustments for the rake with the adjustable top link where as other products have either welded in place or bolted rakes that require tools to adjust. The Jake Rake is virtually maintenance free without bearings and grease Zerk's, all that is needed to maintain is the teeth. No other competitor product offers the feature to add weight to their product. The Jake rake can hold up to 16 of the 40 pound suitcase weights which is a huge advantage for down pressure or ballast when using the FEL. Every Jake Rake is quick hitch compatible and feature category 1 linkage pins. There are 3 models to choose from, the SC48, CU60, and CU72. The SC48 is designed to be pulled by a sub compact utility tractor. Being only 4 foot wide, you gain the ability to operate in tight quarters while still getting that great footing that the larger models offer. The CU60 is the perfect size for tractors ranging from 20-30 hp. Being 5 foot wide, the CU60 will cover the tracks of a tractor 50" wide and provide that great footing desired by horse people everywhere. The CU72 is our largest, and most popular model which is best suited for 30-45 hp. The CU72 will cover your tracks and get the job done fast. This patented product is the new addition to the arena rake market and it is ready to work. Custom colors are available. Made in the USA! Reclaim your arena today!

I don't have horses, but that looks great! I really hope that you sell a ton of these and become rich and famous! If I remember correctly you are still young correct?

That tool is pretty cool. I can see it being used in several areas....if it works like I imagine. I like the adjustable spiked teeth on the back. What do they sell for?

I think that Jake rake is a great idea by a 15 year old and if you don't like a green one they come in orange too.

Yeah, im 15. I have several people alreday interested in them and all my units on hand are all going to farm stores and tractor dealers when they are finished.

I have used them from arenas to dirt work to grading a wood chip arena. It works the same in each application, i have yet to try it in the woods but my rake is not at home so I will have to wait for a while.

Color was a big thing. I wanted the customer to be able to choose the color they wanted rather than one color. So if there is someone interested, say in the CU60 and they have a Bota tractor, it can be powder coated in orange to match.

Today, I finished construction of all of my Jake Rakes. Totaling with one CU72, two CU60's, and two SC48's. I have to say, it was a lot of work, but it is a great feeling to know that they are all on pallets ready to be distributed. Currently, i have them in Green, Red, and Orange. But remember, they are offered in all colors, specifically to fit either the buyer preference or to match the machines they will be attached to.

Those implements are looking pretty good. Here is a suggestion though, put clevises at the 3 pt attachment points. The 48" units should be fine, and the 60" units may be ok, but the 72" unit needs to have clevis attachment points IMO. Time will tell.

Who knows, maybe you'll be the next big implement manufacturer on the west coast.

I will definatly keep that in mind. With my 72" units, I plan to make them even more heavy duty with even thicker steel plus adding a lot more strength to the rake arms. I would hope i could become the next big west coast implement manufacturer, i would sure like that. :D:thumbsup: One step at a time. :)

Have you patented it yet? I would hate for somebody to come along and steal your idea.
