The first few were about as I expected. I was pleasantly suprised to see the list played out so far. Our darling Papillon (Baby. Yep! A dog named Baby. Bet you can't guess that it's spoiled rotten can you?) is #35 on the hit parade!
I used to raise Labs. The wife wanted a smaller dog for inside the house.
Ghandi said something to the effect that you can judge a society by the way they treat their animals. He would have quite a bit to say about how this mutt lives, I'm sure. Dang dog lives better than most people.

When I was a young man my father got me hooked on Shih Tzu dogs. I've been an owner ever since. Currently the wife and I have two females. 9th on the most popular list.

A lot of breeders feel that making it to the top of one of these lists is the kiss of death for their breed. It usually means that the dogs are being bred indiscriminately. Just another train of thought.
