The New F150

I'm self employed but their was a time my friend I would have given my left .... errrrr arm /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif to work their. Delivered propane for the hi lows their with a buddy who taught me to drive the big stuff many years ago. I ship yellow often so I make the o so pleasant and oderiferous trip to Zog island and the livernois/springwell area. Makes me very thankfull for a .45 each time I go ! Dave

Any updates on this thread, anyone else have one of the new style 2004 F-150's and have some feedback? I'm also close to puchasing a 4X4 SuperCab XLT model with 6 1/2 ft bed along and the 5.4 V8 engine.

Through work, we're also eligible to use the Ford Partner program to get X plan pricing. Looks to have the price at about 12% under MSRP, anyone else have experience using that plan or better experience just doing the normal negotiating route?

Just normal negotiating our dealer will give $300 under invoice on the 150 and $500 under invoice on the 250 and 350's plus any rebates or special financing. I drove one of the 150's this last week when I had my truck in for some work. It was very impressive.

I am looking for a larger truck for towing and load capacity. Currently I drive a Ranger. After looking at the new F-150's we found we could move up to a F-250 for about the same money. At this point I believe that is what we will end up with.

Thanks, we decided to stay with our current truck, I have an Explorer Sport Trac and although the bed is small, we decided that for the few times we'd like a larger capacity, we could pay for delivery. My son is going to buy our Escape so we're back to looking at cars now. Thanks for the follow ups.
