Just came across this thread, am I too late? If not, my guess will be at 6:52am June 27, the minute I was born a half century ago. Of course that's been adjusted for EST.

How did different members attempt to zero in on the date and time they picked?

Pulled a date and time out of my butt basically...:laughing: (...and that's the reason I'll be posting more until my date passes )

I assume we are past the deadline for entering the post contest.

How did different members attempt to zero in on the date and time they picked?
I tried to plot some points and draw a line out to 2,000,000.

Anyone use a computer program to make their prediction?

I started plotting posts per hour from the time the contest was posted and made an estimate that was based on just under 40 posts per hour. As of this morning at 8:00 am the posts were running at a rate of 37.11/hr. Looks to me like the post count is higher on week days than it is on the weekend.

It's difficult to estimate, there are new members joining daily that could potentially add to the post count.

I'm guessing that my estimate is going to be about a month off!!! Only 8411 more posts and it's only June 17th! My guess of July 30 was a little long. Oh well. That new coat would be nice doing the winter feeding but a little too warm for June or July...
