Well, I'm afraid the old girl is coming apart.....
I have been unable to resolve a problem with the PTO. Through a myriad of test and diagnostics, I've come to the conclusion that the problem is internal, so the transaxle has to come out. That means the ROPS has to come off, all linkage connected to the transaxle has to be disconnected. The driveshaft, fuel tank and hydro trans has to come out.
Since the days are now getting shorter, it will soon be dark by the time I get home from work. So, this tractor project is going to have to be shelved so I can work on getting power run out to the barn and some lights hung in there. Then I'll be able to work on it whenever I want instead of daylight hours only. I'm so sick of that **** thing, I probably need a break from it anyway.
