The older I get washing & waxing ..

I spent 7hrs washing, iron x, clay bar, polishing compound, sealant, 2 coats wax on my 3500 Dually Monday. I plan on fluid filming the underside of it today along with my dump trailer and tractor. I'm not going to argue with anyone to each there own.

What I can tell you for certain is everyone thinks every piece of equipment I own is darn near new (none are) and in immaculate shape. I've also gotten high resale values on every piece of equipment I have owned/sold due to the shape it's in. So we can agree to disagree but taking care of your equipment shows and is of some value.

If my kids didn't start school this week none of this would get done, lol.

I take the cars and truck to the car wash once a month. I work very close to a good car wash. It's convenient. Since I am getting older I only wash my tractor when needed. I have my priorities in order.

I'm with the wash and wax group. But I'm in the Northeast where there is the most corrosive stuff on the planet spread on the roads for ice control.

Cooby - my 2500 gets bigger every year! I wash regularly, but can only manage waxing 2 times per year.

Yeah I think I would be a little more diligent if I lived in your area. Especially if I had a vehicle rot out first.

I hand wash every 3-4 weeks, and use a liquid wax about 3x a year. I would love to give my pickup a good buff polish etc, but dont have the time when im at home. i really enjoy seeing rain bead after a fresh wax!

Me too... I just don't enjoy the process of making that happen!
