The worst one in my area took out most of a family… unit had a wall furnace that was not used for a longtime…
A bird made a nest in the vent pipe blocking flow.
A family member lit the pilot during a cold snap and several succumbed to poisoning.
First, it blows my mind Gene Hackman was 95; I guess it makes sense, it's been a long time since I've seen him in films so I still remember him being at least 20 years younger. Second, it's sad to hear he has passed, and worse to see his wife and pup went with him. No signs of foul play, I can't think of anything other than CO2, but I'm not an investigator.
Terrible, but if it was CO2, I hope they passed in their sleep.

Probably my single favorite actor, or at a minimum, near the top of a short list. He's not only in a lot of great movies, but he's usually the best part of any movie he is in.
Unforgiven comes to mind.
Eastwood is in even more of my favorite movies than Hackman, but Hackman's the better actor.
