The surprising truth about motor oils

Oh, crap!
I was just gonna ask where would be the best brand and best place to buy distilled water to add to the anti-freeze.
You are a wet towel.

For those who are unaware of it, the Water Wars were peacefully ended here on TBN on 6/12/05, when it was mutually agreed that top-quality distilled water is superior to top-quality tap water in virtually every measurable, quantifiable way, but that the added cost might or might not be worth it to any one particular person. John:

Number 1:

I'm not going to tell what brand of oil I use, 'cause it's none of your business......It's fine for me but it might not be fine for anyone else. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

And 2:

My distilled water is "Private Label" too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think maybe we should discuss toilet tissue??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Daryl:

In case you're unaware of it, the Toilet Paper Wars were peacefully ended here on TBN on 9/22/04, when it was mutually agreed that top-quality 2-ply toilet paper is superior to top-quality 1-ply toilet paper in virtually every measurable, quantifiable way (plus it just plain feels better), but that the added cost might or might not be worth it to any one particular person. (And let's not even get into "drain intervals"). /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Discuss water and toilet paper?

Geesh, is this what you guys do to pass the time while waiting for enough snow to build up so you can get on your tractors? LOL

Carl -

In case you were unaware of it, the Snow Wars were peacefully ended here on TBN .....

OK, you got me, there were no Snow Wars. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You said a mouthful though, I wish we'd get about 3 feet. People's yards are a muddy mess right now, or I'd be a loggin' fool right now. I have about 20,000 board feet of prime red oak to go cut. Oh well ... at least I'm getting a chance to clean out my shop and fix a few (hundred) things. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Plus, it's always good to have a few laughs while we're waiting for Mother Nature to try to remember what season it is - I think she's getting a little "dotty" in her old age. (I know, I know - "look who's talking"). /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I guess the weather is acting goofy just about everywhere. One day it's in the 80's, the next it's in the 40's. My planting area is still wet from the rain in December and just as it starts getting dry enough to plow, it rains again. If this keeps up I am going to have to change my crop to rice and crawfish. LOL

Pretty much sums up oil talk in general. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Richard, I'm with you. I think I'm about ready to adopt a new philosophy on lubricants: if the container says "OIL" on it, you're good to go! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
