I also have the Motorola G Power. It's a very good phone. It was less than $200 from Amazon. I use it a lot for listening to and reading books, internet and even make a phone call now and then. Battery life is it's big feature, it will go as long as 4 days between charges for me with regular use.
The only negative is that it doesn't have inductive charging. If the USB port goes bad, the phone is a brick, while phones with inductive charging can still be used. That's the only feature I wish it had.
Motorola is owned by Lenovo, the same Chinese company that bought the IBM laptop business. As Chinese companies go, they are probably one of the less evil ones.
