The Time has Come. New L3560 Ordered

For LED lights, just pick a size, like 27W, spot or flood, and start looking at Amazon and eBay. I have purchased about 16 or so, mostly 27W floods, and they all seem about the same quality and so far, zero issues. Since you likely are moving fairly slowly, the 27W floods seem to work just fine. I did add some 18W side lights, so I could see the brush along side of me. My apologies in advance to guys who have seen this photo too many times over the years, but for newbies, maybe it'll give them some ideas?

I ordered the 4" 18 watt spots which looks identical to your side lights. I only need them for the rear as the front lights are pretty exceptional. I should have them here first of the week and I'll post photos after the install.

If you have good front lighting, they must have changed things. My headlights are fine, until the loader comes into the picture. The back side of the loader is well-lite, but that's about it. I like lots of light, since I mostly have to deal with snow removal on a tree/shrub lined lane, and at night, in a storm, I need all the help I can get to avoid getting a snow covered branch on the nose.

Liking the L3560 still? I'm looking at upgrading my L320p to a cabbed machine here in a bit. My calculations have it as notably less HP per ton than my current machine. My l3200 is OK on power most of the time, but I occasionally want more. That seems to jive with The Fred & others complaining about power. I'm more looking at a L4060 now (same frame, 1 more cylinder for more HP, bigger tires as far as I can tell). Trying to get all the opinions I can as input though.

Had I went with a cab I would've probably looked at the 4060 and larger tractors. Initially I was looking at the 4060, but decided the wider width would've gave problems on the trails I maintain and require me to upgrade implements. Regardless of the overall weight difference between it and my l3200 I'm well pleased. I am able to work alot faster now not only due to the HP increase, but because of the Grand L features,(HST Plus, Live PTO, larger capacity/lift loader , QA Bucket, ect, ect). Those are the real reasons I upgraded. I never had a issue with engine horsepower with my l3200 but the lack of features that help me work faster. And because of that I opted for the 3560 instead of the L4060.

Thanks for the perspective. I very rarely have HP issues on the L3200. Mostly roading up any kind of hill, rototiller & very rarely mowing really heavy stuff on flat smooth ground.

Have thought about checking into smaller (L3560) tires on the L4060 for similar maneuverability & clearance issues.

Well I got the work lights installed. Can't wait till dark to try them out and adjust. I didn't have long enough zip-ties to finish up the wiring but I'll pick some up over the weekend.Took several hours to install but alot of time was spent soldering the wiring. Not to bad for less than $20 for everything. View attachment 477112View attachment 477113

Just a follow up. Had my first Regen today at exactly 40 hours. Was already Bushogging and it went into Regen automatically and lasted maybe 10 minutes. Nothing like I thought it would be... Glad I went with my l3560 and didn't get scared away by the T-4 engine.
