Thanks to your (and others) suggestion, I now have both
240 and 120 on the welding cart. Believe it or not, I found this old 2 position breaker box in someone's trash out by the curb. He tried to sell it for $5 in a garage sale, and after it did not sell he put it out for the trash so I picked it up. I did have to supply my own breakers, but hey, I'm not proud. See attached photo.
