OK, so you guys can obviously make a grapple with a 42" opening. Why not offer a 48-52" wide 3/8" steel version with the identical geometry and less heavily built but identical lid? Seems like from Ted's discussion in the video that you have raised the attachment point/tower for the lid cylinder and used a longer stroke cylinder. How about taking lessons learned and come up with a Mark II version of your grapples with less than 42" opening widths? Continuous improvement is the name of the game.

Just in: Two fresh Wicked Grapple reviews. Both were sold by yours truly!

72" Single Lid Wicked Grapple on a New Holland TC40
"I am very satisfied with EA sales and product build, they did not try to sell me something that I did not need or could use properly on my TC40da tractor, delivery was faster than I thought it would be, I would recommend EA them for your future attachment purchases."

54" Single Lid Wicked Grapple on a Kubota L3560
"I ended up choosing this product due to the wealth of online information and feedback from happy users. I'm joining the chorus as another satisfied user. Purchased this for my brand new Kubota L3560. Discussions over the phone during the ordering process were helpful and I think I ended up with the right size (54" single lid). Shipping to the midwest was quick from the factory in NC. I took delivery at my local Fedex depot. The grapple on a pallet easily fit in the back of my F-150. So far I've mostly used the grapple for trees and grubbing out honeysuckle . Seems very well built and I expect it to see a lot of use."

I'm still out here, waiting to provide live feedback. Have had a couple of kinks with the new tractor that the dealer had to take care of, so I haven't been able to measure for the hoses yet. Hardcore testing will likely have to wait until my ground firms up: have some good sized trunks and stumps that are waiting for me and the grapple :D

My 60" single grapple exceeded my expectations. It's wide enough to balance a long log or wide pile of brush, and narrow enough to pry up individual bushes and medium trees. I'm also impressed how well the tines slice through the dirt without much disturbance. Smart design.
Post purchase quick and knowlegeble responses to questions, and service have been spot on. I have bought other products from EA as well. Products and service have always been great. EA definitely has the end user in mind when designing and building these products.

Thanks for the kind words. The Wicked Grapple has evolved into a fine tuned, hard working piece of art. We're very proud of it and love to hear from proud Wicked Grapple owners!

Yes, I've read about your tractor troubles. I hope you get everything resolved so you can grapple on soon!!

That's what I was talking about. I like it!

Thank you, but what part were you talking about? The removable expanded metal pieces framed in angle iron, or the color scheme? I was thinking about going for a 'Jaws' look; white teeth, with some blood on them, but I could not find a good place for the eyes...

Both are great, but my comment was referring to the end tines and lid being painted. I had posted about doing it on 10/03, but haven't had a chance to get to it.

Here are some excerpts from an email conversation with a Wicked Grapple customer in Utah. This guy even had pizza delivered to the office for our crew!!
This is why I frequently use the #EAcustomersRock Hashtag on our EA Facebook Page! Click the hashtag link for LOTS of grapple pics!!

"Picked up the grapple last night. First and foremost that thing is a BEAST. Holy Sh*t is that a serious piece of equipment. Pictures do not show that level of hard-core like seeing it in person does. I'll get you some action shots here in the next few days. The amazing customer service that you guys provide is one of the reasons I went with the more money option vs the crappy chinese stuff."
