Would it grow more if you offered free shipping to the west coast?

Believe me, the shipping cost to the west coast is more than reasonable. It's coast to coast, I'm not complaining.

Re: The WICKED Root & Debris GRAPPLE!!!!!!!

Pray tell how does it prove your point that dual lids are definitely better? There were four responses. Two guys say they like both. One prefers single and you prefer double. How does that "prove your point"? Do you work in the White House and like alternative facts?

.

.

.

My point is simple

Your looking for a list of people here that have been dissatisfied with one or the other grapple and with only 4 folks talking about having experience with more than one size out of how many? Shows just how unrealistic your asking is! Most here wouldn't have enough time or money to entertain which they prefer because most jobs could be done with any grapple and if you have never had the use of anything else you have nothing to compare it with.

I will not entertain you with my exact use, its more fun letting you guess but I will tell you that I get done much quicker with the 72 and have less wasted time fighting for a good load than I ever did with my smaller grapple. I also get more into the bucket and keep it there with the dual lid than I ever did with the single and its even less time spent fighting for a good load at the pile.

I am glad however that you know my needs better than I do and will send you a PM the next time I think about buying something for any of my tractors. Maybe this weekend you can tell me which size grapple I will need for my intended use Choices are 72", 55" or a 28'custom for the backhoe the others are a bit too hard to dig out of the old barn right now.

The best for me is justified the same as the best for you is justified but nothing is justified for everyone else no matter how eloquent your wording is until they have had the experience with different grapples!

No, you are simply trolling. You argue that one grapple is better than another but won't tell us the names/model of the grapples in question??? BS!

Here is another pic of my 72" Wicked Twin doing some clean up work. The 72" grapple lets you cover the tractors tracks. I was also surprised how well the closed grapple worked like a bull dozer! The dual lid lets you get a full bite.

Some where we need a grappleability list!

Man thats a beautiful sight. Tracking says Monday for me. Thats fine, I've got plenty to do until then. After Monday, I'll be wearing paint off mine, four jobs already lined up.
Where you at on the coast? I used to work in the oil fields offshore down there. Summer in Galveston was one of the highlights of my life.

I'm farther south than Galveston. About midway between Freeport and Matagorda as you head down. Tried to post a picture but I keep getting errors. Maybe I'll try Optimized rather than Original.

Rain in the forecast 5 of the next 9 days and we got absolutely hammered last night so I can't play without leaving muddy ruts everywhere. It'll be a while before things dry up.

IMG_6281.JPGIt's going to be really difficult to hold off but I'm just going to have to suck it up. Also sitting on a brand new haven't-been-able-to-use-it-yet 72" cutter from EA that all the wet weather has prevented me from using.

Here we go again, more family grapple portraits and fluff commentary.

(Just yanking the peanut gallery's chain Travis.....Turns out pablum is about all the stimulus they can handle.)

You might stop and remember that EA is the OP here IT. It gets old when, a member proudly states that they have ordered their first grapple or receives their first grapple, then along you come, berating the poor guy for making an uninformed selection since they strayed from your opinion of what the "Everyman's Grapple" must be.

We all use our grapples for different purposes, perhaps much different than your typical use.

FWIW, I don't think your "light duty" grapple would last a day on our 100 HP tractor, pushing down dead trees and carrying them to the burn pile.

Your never ending berating of EA for "not properly educating" their potential grapple customers is without basis and wearing thin as well. Travis and his associates have always been helpful when I contacted them. We had several email conversations before I decided what to buy for my second grapple.

Since EA is the OP, you might reconsider your place as the "uninvited dinner guest who only complains about the food".

Peace ..... Out.

My Proud customers make bragging about our treasured grapples so easy!
Steve posted this awesome pic last night and I just shared it to the EA Facebook Page.
He has a 66" Single Lid Wicked Grapple on his Mahindra 2555.

Yep. We get it. Everyone loves their EA grapples. Now, instead of repeating that chorus line with every post, how about some thoughtful discussion to help potential buyers work through the choices. Or, how about soliciting some feedback so EA can make an even more awesome product.

How about we discuss the pros and cons and alternatives for the sharp rearward angled teeth on the EA bottom tines that tend to snag brush making dumping the load more of a hassle than it should be? Those sharp fishhooks have advantages when trying to rip roots but are otherwise unnecessary. Given it would be a simple change in the CAD file, couldn't EA give customers a choice of how aggressively the tine teeth are cut?

How about we discuss why EA doesn't offer a medium duty grapple with 42+ inch opening when other grapple manufacturers seem to have been doing that for years.

TBN is a discussion forum not a Facebook baby picture album or corporate marketing brochure. Let's use our collective neuronal capacity to make a better product.

Perhaps you might design the perfect grapple, start your own manufacturing company, and start a new thread called;

The "Everyman Grapple" Opposing Viewpoints Unwelcome Here.

Opposing viewpoints unwelcome here??? WTF? You looking in the mirror or sumthin?

Do I misremember or weren't you the one beatching about the backwards facing tines?

Ask Travis who pushed EA to make a 50" compact grapple that is now one of their better sellers.

Progress comes with critical thinking not slaps on the back.
