Theft of photos from TBN

The use of goatse and similar images go back to a time with bandwidth was expensive. Facebook and previous social networks allowed customized page templates. Folk selling those templates would simply link an image. For the small website owner a hosting bill jump from $20 to $400/month because of images used in facebook templates. Rename the image files and templates will be updated to follow. Swap to shock images and the extra bandwidth goes way and guy making money on the templates has to do correct his way.

I did computer support for awhile. There are images that you just can not unsee. Glad to be working in the commercial/industrial world and have to deal with consumer level support.

maybe this is like the auto theft ring that advertises cars, and parts for specialty cars, when they get a buyer, they go and steal the car, and sell it to you:shocked: why else would they be doing this?.. here's more pictures of your tractor. Google

What if someone fakes your thread and posts it on TBN?

Some of my welding photos, most notably the grab hooks on my Kioti tractor I posted here showed up on a hispanic welders site in florida. Yes a legitimate business advertised as an example of his welding (along with many other photos) some of my amateur welding. I must have done a good job. When I called him out, he was like "no big deal", and you cannot do anything about it. etc. I chalked it up to him being a turd and let it go. Here was the main photo of an example of his machinery welding. Makes you wonder how legitimate he really is to steal an amateurs welding photo.

During the rainy winter months I often entertain myself by flagging scam tractor and UTV ads. It is not unusual to flag 50 ads on the Las Vegas Craigslist site. 10 minutes later, they are right back online.

Apparently Craigslist management doesn’t care that these scammers destroyed their credibility and pretty much ruined their reputation.

It looks a lot better than mine and better than some so called pro jobs I have seen.

I once posted a picture of a buddy welding a large pipe flange for me, on my Plenty of Fish (dating) Profile. It was such a manly stance and impressive picture with sparks flying and all. Seems that don't impress women much anyways. lol

I flag everyone of these posts on CL that I see. It's become kind of a game.

I do as well. Dead give away is a super nice tractor at a Very low price. And also when the posted location is downtown Seattle (in my case, or whatever big city you are near) where the high rise buildings are. FLAG IT

Aside from price the instant giveaway is contact information overprinted in the tractor photo. 100% bogus.

All in itself the overprinted information isn’t a mark of a scam. It’s often done to attempt to bypass paying a website commission. Another reason it’s done is scammer robots are less likely to pickup your information. Now the add in discussion is definitely a scam.
