There Is No Compass In My Pickup

I should say that this is my fourth Tacoma and all have been very reliable. Actually, I don’t even shop around, just buy a Tacoma. Past trucks have had compasses. I have GPS, I have a cell phone, I have aviation compasses that will work. My bit*h is that Toyota just didn’t put one in, it has everything else. And, I can navigate with the best of them. I just like the compass to be convenient in my instrument scan, not an add on.

Now, to make matters worse, the radio weather display has the forecast temperature, not an actual thermometer. If they can do that by location, the truck knows where it is, so why won’t they show me?

I have a compass but no place to keep my Sunglasses in my GMC 08 Sierra 2500 SLT.

I like the compass and use it often (no GPS). I just don't like the limitation of 8 compass points and sometimes if you don't know and aren't sure where you are going, it can be unnerving when a road is bending around and it looks like you are going in the wrong direction entirely. A readout in Degrees would be really NICE!
