Should be Three kids illegally riding a ATV. That least little one only needs a bump to be really mangled on the mower. I cannot imagine anybody doing this either, much less on film, but it does take all kinds. I have a neighbors kid run over by his brother while riding the hood of a mower, so it does happen.

My act of crazyness came last week. I got down the drive in the morning to go to work and found a dead deer at the bottom. I was able to get around, got to work and called the Game Commission to come pick it up. No problem they said. Got home that night and it was still there.

Got the BX out and drove down to scoop it up with the loader. Couldn't get it in the bucket so I got off, grabbed it by the legs and hoisted it into the bucket. Just the body, barely, fit, the head and legs hanging out. Raising the bucket, it looked as though it was going to fall out, so, I raised the bucket up all the way and gave it a flick and, the dang thing rolled out, down the arms and landed with a thud on the hood, staring at me with it's tonge hanging out. Cars were driving by, one truck honking at me.

Luckily no damage to the hood, or me.

I'll bet you neighbors were thinking "Wow I didn't know you could use a Kubota to hunt!"

I had a similar experience with a dead deer from my neighbor's yard. To save time, dug a hole with trusty BH about 3 ft deep, figured I would put deer in on his back and just fold his legs down. Scooped him up with the FEL, legs forward. Raised him up and figured I could just flip him into position. You guessed it, he landed feet down with everything from his shoulders up out of the hole. I had to get down off the BX and drag him out for a second try. I still laugh every time I mow by the spot.

Have been reading about all the rops into the garage door headers since I have been on TBN and since I have 12 ft doors on the gear shed I just leave the rops up all the time and chuckle.

Any way... I put up a second 20x50 hoop house over my old 10x30 one this summer. I left the old raised beds in since they were all planted and just did new beds off to the sides. Well took the old bed framework out to build new ones and got the bright idea to use the tractor to take out all the dirt build the new boxes(different size and shape and then drop the dirt back in. 8x8 door, no problem 2 inches either side of the dual rears fold down the rops, ez pz, wasnt even having to slow down too much to get thru the door. Got dirt all out built the new boxes and got about half the new dirt back in.

Weather got nice so we took off and got a load of crab pots to put away and since I have to carry the load pretty high in the air with the tractor my little safety voice said put the rops back up, after dark and all that.

This am, 1st project finish filling the raised beds, grab a load of dirt head thru the doors watching the tire clearance, no problem, looked up to just in time to see the OH SHIP!! expression on my crewman's face. Thank goodness for hst, stopped on a dime just as the rops crushed the poly carb end wall into the metal door frame:ashamed:

So I guess I have joined the rops into the garage door header sorta club :laughing::laughing:

What? You mean like the time I backed the van out of the garage before the door was fully up and blew out the rear window? Nah, that weren't no mistake. I just wanted an excuse to put a new window in to fix the defroster.

When I got my Cub Cadet 7260, it didn't take me long to crash the ROPS into the top of the overhead door! Luckily, I was barely moving and it missed the brick! Apparently I love driving with the brake set too, I do it often enough! LOL! My favorite was slamming backward into a tree wiht the boxblade! I bent the pin on the darn thing, which is why I have spares in the barn! LOL! The stupidest trick was when a friend was driving it. He tried to pick up a huge downed tree wiht the FEL, as I was telling him not to do it! He tipped my poor Cubby up on his nose! He thought it was funny; I was not happy. He has never driven it since then! :)

A couple of years ago I was widening the end of my driveway by using the FEL to scoop dirt and move it onto a pile out of the way. I had my brush cutter on the back for ballast, so I figured I had nothing to worry about. That would have been right if I had only seen the hole in the ground before my left front wheel dropped into it. I can only say that I'm glad I was wearing the seat belt. Both rear wheels came about a foot off the ground and without the belt I would have taken a flyer. I needed a chain on my truck to pull the rear of the tractor back on to the ground. Fortunately, there was no one home to see me doing my unbalancing act, and this is the first time I've admitted doing it.
