I'll be surprised if John Deere sells theirs for the $13.96 that Hoyes lists theirs for. Of course you have shipping verses taxes verses gasoline to pick up, but then again taxes may not apply if farm equipment.
I can't remember what I paid for mine, made the change over years ago. I also own a John Deere 950, and when the little bottle cracked on my Yanmar 3000, I made the change to the JD setup. Cold winters in NV and the thermostart gets used for every start in the winter. I got tired of filling the bottle after finding out with the JD you didn't have to, it was always full. Could the JD cost a few bucks more, think so, but worth it. Hoye tractor might even have the other bottle without the cap in stock if you ask ???

Not trying to down sell Hoye at all but for temporary purposes the FF with return will work a lot cheaper here is a pic in case it isn't clear what I am talking about Chris. hth
Not sure what it fits the box wasn't with it but Dodge v8 2 bbl carb mid-late 70's comes to mind??? Its 5/16 and 1/4 for the return. My guess is it would be a few bucks at the zone etc and its only 2" long. fwtw
I didn't have much to do yesterday. So, I went to the auto parts & found a fuel filter similar to the 1 you posted & replaced my old thermostrat cup
