Re: They\'re loaded

Have_Blue there are certain conditions and certain times of the year that extra weight is a BIG disadvantage. I strip the weight in early spring to get on the turf as early as possible to spread fertilizer with weed control. Don't want rutting when the ground is still soft. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Also when working up the seedbeds soil compaction works against you. Once the ground starts to firm up and the crops are planted the weight goes back on. This is why I am a big advocate of weighted vs. filled tires. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think that's called "finesse", which is a stranger to me. When my tires sink, I think I need more power. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Have_Blue creative thinking kicks in about the 3rd time that you reseed the lawn. At least mine took me that long. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And I thought adding a turbo charger WAS creative thinking. Yea, I guess I can see where it wouldn't help my turf. I'm learning!
