Last week, i came across 3 very small lawn tractors when I was building a barn, they were stored at the place next door. now i have a history at this place, every time we have worked there, I bought something. This is the third time and i knew I wasnt gonna get away without buying something. He collects Allis Chalmers and Simplicity lawn tractors, so I always  when I look in the barns.
He was showing me around and we saw these three lawn tractors sitting on a shelf above a bunch of attachments like MMM's and tillers and stuff. So I looked at them and decided the think about it (that means I am interested). So Monday we go over to finish the barn and he took them off the shelf so i could get a better look. I liked em.:confused2::laughing: And Tuesday morning, we went over and put them on the trailer. Cost me $20, I got three lawn tarctors, 6 spare tires, a 36" mower, a small tiller, a box of parts, and very little room left on the trailer. Then we went and picked up my tractor at my grandpa's place and it barely fit. :confused2::laughing: Got everything back home and unloaded the tractor, then the lawn tarctors behind the barn. Now i have a small "junk yard" but the Allis Chamers 610 or "Allison" as I call it managed to work it's way up next to the YM169D.
They like eachother, yet the John deere wishes it was up front. Anyways, tonight I might go out with my yanmar and forks to pick up the lawn tractor with the tiller and haul it to the garage so i can remove the tiller, seat pan, crummy seat, and possibly the tranny.
The one with the tiller is bent in the middle so it is my designated parts mower. since "Allison" made her way into the barn it is up first to get the engine running again. These things are small, you can see how big my Yanmar looks next to "Allison" but i wanted the small mowers so i could start with a small 8 & 10 hp gas motors and work my way up. besides, the grills on these lawn tractors kinda look like YM 1500s.
