We put up a Rubbermaid brand box on a wooden post that's 5 ft in the ground with a rod and piece of chain bolted to it at the bottom for resistance. A tractor loader would pull it out but not a high school J.D. That mailbox seems indestructible and I'll give it two thumbs up.

Boys have tried to damage the box and/or pull the post out of the ground for more than 10 years now but no dice on either. For the past five years they stopped trying. Move along boys---nothing to see here.

Family members who won't refill ice trays! Just leave them empty on the counter or worse yet... return them to the freezer EMPTY!

I hope I'm not repeating one somebody else has already stated, Items being sold that require ( Mail in Rebates ) annoy the heck out of me,

Here I am looking through a Tiger Direct sales flier finding all kind of great deals, I reach for my glasses to read that ittle bitty fine print below only to find it reads after mail in rebate,

which reminds me of a trip I made to Harbor Freight a couple months ago, My son took me to HF on Fathers day and wanted to buy me a New floor jack, I had a coupon for 20% off anything in the store, So I picked out a floor-jack load it into the shopping cart proceeded to check out and hand the cashier the coupon,
She stated that Floor-jacks were "excluded from coupon discounts" Now that mad me mad:mad: I asked her where is it that says this?
Of course right there on the coupon in small Very Fine print, I actually couldn't see it with my reading glasses on, I need both my glasses and a Magnifying glass to make out the writing,...... but it was right there in plain English  how the heck do they get writing printed so small anyway!

You need to step up your game and get a side by side with a ICE MAKER! :D

I have one, but of course the ice maker is broke... we have resorted back to trays as well.

If you see (removed)'s thread about mother nature's mistake I guess I'm not the only one.

:laughing:Yep, I printed out one of those 20% off coupons myself and went to Harbor Freight for a 3/8", 14' chain with grab hooks yesterday. And even after reading the fine print with my magnifying glass, I wasn't sure if the coupon would be any good because it says "Cannot be used with other discount" and the chain showed to be $34.99 "on sale" with $9 off for $25.99; however, the young lady took the coupon, which gave me another $5.20 off, so it only cost me $20.79 plus tax.

I have tried for 20 years to keep my neighbors from parking on the road right of way of my property. I get tired of trying to round them up and ask them to move their cars so I can mow. They have a similar road right of way in front of their house, but they never park there. They run a dry wall business out of their house (zoned residential) so their worker(s) all park in front of my house, rutting up the ditches and killing the grass. But no such thing for their ditches.

Recently, each day when I go home, I drive my car down their side ditch, turn around and then repeat that trick. I figure why should I have marked up roadsides and dead grass while theirs looks just great?

I am looking for a big nasty looking 4wd vehicle so I can park it right in front of their house and screw up their deal like they have done mine. When they are not parking on my frontage, I will park the ugly vehicle in my drive. When they park on my frontage, I will park the ugly vehicle on their frontage. At least that is the plan.

Their mother said "it's state property, so you can't stop us." I said "you just wait and see what I park in front of your house." Now it is time for me to live up to my part of the bargain, but until then, I will mark up their frontage each day with my vehicle.

Soon, I will actually start crossing the ditch and marking up an area further into their yard. The reason: they drove into my yard and backed up to the ditch bank with a truck and trailer so they could use the depression in helping them load the trailer. So there are big tire ruts in the ditch, and holes in my yard where they spun their truck.

I am going to hire a surveyor and find the marker they keep obscuring, and once done, I will use my loader to summarily shove all the landscaping they have deployed on my side of the line back onto their property.

I don't have much time left, and you'd think I would just let stuff like that go, but after twenty years of constant encroachment and annoyance, I may die, but I am unwilling to just "rollover and die."
