Order it ,cut the bands and lift just box blade off then throw pallet on ground. Done quick and easy
Keep track of that pallet... never know where it might end up. Maybe in a field somewhere. :D

Around here a good pallet is like gold. Nothing makes me happier than getting a good one. That way when the wife makes me go to Home depot and buy pavers, bushes, fancy topsoil, or something else I can stack them on the pallet in the truck bed and use the tractor to lift it out. My back loves pallets!!

I think you will be fine unloading it. When I bought mine they delivered it to where I work and I had it loaded into my truck, all I had at the time was my Ford 961 so I used my parents old B8200 to unload it. The old B has a BF350 loader on it and I'm not sure what it is rated at but it lifted it out of the bed of the truck with no issues.

It helps to have a buddy to keep the object from swinging while one is lifting. I took a tiller out of my truck by myself but could have used a helper. The lifting was no problem.

Additional thoughts: 1. Not sure what the capabilities of the your BH are but I use mine (B26TLB) with a short choker to lift/move all my attachments in and out of the barn and my truck. 2. Extend the BH out behind the tractor and use as counter weight, slight arc swings left or right also correct for any un-level ground. 3. If reach and arc of BH are limited or you're concerned about moving with load on FEL - have the truck drive out from under after you have the load.

Aaaaaannnd we're on a bit of delay. The EA website got me thinking these things were in stock and they're not. Taking a look at their website:

Tractor Box Scrapers- Box Blades

Take a look at the United products (scroll maybe half way down). They all say "Out of Stock". Well, this made me think that the other equipment (most all EA gear) was IN stock. This is NOT the case!!!

Confusing at best, a bit misleading at the worst, but it is what it is.

I called them today and they said they don't really know when it will ship. Kind of a bummer.

Bottom line, I haven't forgotten about this thread! I'll be back with an update as soon as it shows up...

I used a BX24 and the same forks to unload a 4' box blade from the tractor trailer. It worked out okay. The mistake I made was once it was picked up and backed away from the truck it lowered too fast and got to scary bouncing as I tried to control it. Nothing bad happened and after dropping the engine speed it came down gently. The next heavy implement ordered, I got the truck lift option and moved it onto a 3pt utility platform. It just felt better driving on hard top with the weight on the back rather out front on those skinny front tires.
