Looks great-- but why on earth are you wasting that other perfectly good blueberry support in the foreground by hanging clothes on it?!

Because it's cheaper than running the dryer?
Besides, on a day like that who wants to be working in the basement when you can be out in the sun thinking about blueberry jam, waffles and pancakes while you hang and take down the laundry. I bet I put on a half pound every load I dry.

That is a great picture jymbee. We have been hitting our supply of frozen blueberrys. I love tasting them in the winter it makes me think of summer.

I sent this last fall to a friend who loves blueberries with cereal for breakfast:

jymbee - that qualifies as breakfast of Supermen!
Like forgeblast, I'm working on the reserves from this Summer.
Had to grab a jar that The Plant Manager canned for yesterdays waffle breakfast.

I'm interested in seeing photos of enclosures people have made to hold fencing and netting, as well as other methods people use to keep the deer and birds out.

Late to the party....but I've never noticed any issues with birds/deer/rats/mice/squirrels/dogs/other.... molesting our blueberries. Then again, I DO notice yellow jackets (hornets?) on them from time to time. These have been around for a couple years now. We pick gallons & gallons among the family members and give most of them away. There are still gallons on the bushes at the end of the season.

Wow-- those are some great looking blueberry bushes! Perhaps their defense against birds/deer/rats/mice/squirrels/dogs/other-- is their sheer volume of fruit. Probably more than enough for everybody. :)
