I put a tube in my tire last winter. Drove over a couple pocket gopher mounds a few weeks ago and came out to find a flat the next day. I cracked the valve stem loose from the tube. Not expensive to fix, but a PITA....
I really think a lot of tubes today are junk...
My old cars all have tubes and never a problem with Kelly Springfield and similar...
Some of the tubes today split right at the seam... frustrating... then they all come from China.
