On my L4200 GST, I have disconnected the linkage to the clutch pedal... I then locked the pedal down to keep it out of the way. Much nicer to get in & out of the cab without it in the way.
I have only used the shuttle or GST selector (oil bath clutch pack) for years never the foot clutch pedal. KennyV

Out of curiousity... I know its not a kubota but when i owned my 40's 8n, i never ran into this issue. The tractor would be left out in the yard with out use for up to a month too, any season. Was this a common issue of these parts sticking?

Last summer we were cutting some trees 30" around. We had a rope tied to the tree and my Father-in-laws 8n. Apparrently he was slipping the clutch to keep tension on the rope. After the tree fell we cut it up and came back to the tractor and the clutch was stuck, more then likely from heat build up. We had to tow it around the yard with another ttractor while he kept pumping the clutch pedal. It finnaly broke lose but that was the first time I have ever seen that.

As I understand it, Kubota L series tractors with GST use the same clutch pack for both the clutch pedal and for shifting. So, no risk of having it lock up from non-use. See here: Kubota L4200DT-GST Parts Diagrams for an exploded parts diagram

Actually the clutch pedal disengages a normal dry clutch pressure plate at the flywheel...
The GST and the forward/reverse shuttle use a hydraulic multi disk clutch pack inside the trany ...
My experience has been that a wet clutch pack will out last a dry clutch many times over. That is why I use the hydraulic clutch pack. KennyV

The clutch disc on my 1930 Model A Ford would occasionally stick to the flywheel when not driven for extended periods. To fix the problem, I would jack up the rear of the vehicle, start the car in gear, run up the throttle, keep the clutch pedal depressed and hit the brakes. That would break it loose. Jim
