Wow! Don, that really looks snazzy. What a great entrance. I'm sure looking forward to the time when we can come down and drive through your new gate.:)
Jim, want to a gate at your place next year? :D

I don't know; that looks way too fancy to be way off out in the country.:D

I'll have to agree with you on this one Bird. It looks like I'm finally giving the taxman a break on trying to increase the value of the land.:D

The family wagon wheels, the wildlife and the plants really came together to define the country living we enjoy out here. Thanks all, especially Harvey, Glenda, Bobby and Mike!

Mike, this morning was the perfect retirement morning - 68, cool dry wind from the north. It makes working outside a pleasure, unlike those August muggy hot mornings that turn into 100+ days that I would have considered working in a nice AC building.

Don, the gate looks awesome! I'm jealous.

A coolfront this far south in Sept is a luxury.

uhhh -- Kyle -- don't you have like, oh guessing here, ...about 30 years to go? just a bit early to start being jealous......

Yeah Mikim, unfortunately working in the mfg industry hasn't been very prosperous for many...so I probably will have to work another 30 years. I will tell you this, I've been punching a time card since 1975.:(

I stumbled on this while going through some old bookmarks. One of those nights when I can't sleep because it looks like we might be having to face some hard decisions with my wife's breast cancer treatment options early next week.

Seven years ago, seems like yesterday..........
