What, that it is creosote wood from a light pole?

That's tulip poplar. Very common around here. Very straight trunks. It would make good lumber if it were better wood. Rots too easily. But, some use it for barn siding. As long as it's kept painted and away from moisture it's not bad. I have heard of people using it for indoor trim, and liking it. Not great firewood, though.

Anybody notice the great cutting job on the stump?

Darn you... just lost a half hour of my life (when I could have been on TBN)

Or doing something useful!

Is there a trailer in there somewhere?
I wonder if the buyer has to take all that junk off of it?
Here is the accompanying text:

foldable 4x7 trailer - $200

I have a foldable 4x7 trailer for sale. Decwnt shape, just used as storage. Tires are great, everything works, deck is solid. Rated at around 1400 lbs. Asking $200 firm. Needs new tags, clear title in hand. Need to get rid of it because it seems i only use it for storage. Call or text ........

You would think that someone trying to sell something would at least take the time to clear it off so a buyer can get a look at it.

Perhaps those things are included in the purchase price? I see a rim ($20?), a Kobalt sawzall and charger ($129 new, lets say $50 now), a couple of extension cords ($10 each?), an engine hoist (at least $100), some casters ($20?) and some other random odd assorted stuff...

ISO Nubian goats

Does he think that's a goat?
Just to let you know that ISO = "In Search Of..." Also, with his other comment, "...unrelated let me know what you have" He/she is trying to tell you that he is open to trades, without actually saying it. Also, I bet his ad was looked at more because of that thing on his arm!

I've seen some ads where I would try and guess what the person was selling... either horrible at typing or never passed 3 grade. Which is fine, I like trying to figure the ad out. (This from someone who really sucks at English).

I tell people; English is my second language.... I don't have a first one.

Wow, you did much better at interpreting that than I. I realize ISO is in search of, but couldn't relate the pic to the ad.

Around here Craigslist occasionally has ads from someone saying don't give your goats, chickens, unwanted livestock pets to that guy who is advertising he wants them for free.
Because he wants them for butchering.

And another ad runs continually from someone running a 'goat rescue'. He wants free feed, bedding, fencing, and even wants free rent for a location to move to, because he can't afford what he's attempting and his landlord doesn't appreciate it.
That guy occasionally gets negative ads posted criticizing him, too, but I think only saying he's pushy and unreasonable.
I wouldn't want to be his landlord.
