Jerry:

I might add that I'm getting a little testy. It has rained here every day for the last 13 days. I got half of the hay done and that's it. I have a pile of custom work to do but can't.

The skeeters here are getting as big as June Bugs and real hungry. Working outside is like going to the Red Cross and giving blood. I can almost hear the lawn growing....above the drone of the skeeters. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I noticed that. It's not like you at all. When it dries up and you get the hay done, everything will be better.

Agco is struggling in the market. )</font>

To be frank, I'm not sure why they even have this line of dealers. The challenger series makes sense to have a tractor line at the Cat dealers and Massey has a huge dealer network.

In my mind Allis Chalmers died when Duetz bought them years ago. Those green machines just didn't sit well with the old faithful Allis crowd. The company tried reinventing themselves after Duetz dumped the brand as AGCO (Allis Gleaner company). Just does not seem like they need two major tractor lines (Agco tractor and Massey Fergusen). They should combine resources and just market the Massey Ferusen tractor line well. Many of the other lines I'd imagine are doing well like Heston balers. Come to think of it, you hardly ever see Gleaner Combines anymore either. We use to have one back in the 80's. It was a nice machine.

That is sore spot for me. Maybe it shouldn't be but it is. There is absolutely no need for any AGCO brand tractor. It is a total waste of money. All their resources should be put where the return would be, not throwing it in a useless hole.
