Set the throttle near pto rpms and tweek as required as per the Kw frequency meter. The tracror has a govener to maintain rpm.
I would worry more about 10Kw continious from a 10Kw generator than 15HP continious from a 15HP tractor.
If it's a 15KW load use a 20Kw generator and a 22HP or higher tractor.
Nobody ever wrecked anything going oversize on the generator . There are however piles of ruined equipment by cheapo's trying to run 4990 watts on a 5000w generator.

I think he is referencing the Honda EU2000 generator, not the gas can.

I'm trying to educate myself about using the 3-point hitch on my JD 2032r to power a 10 kw generator. I've been told that my JD CUT will automatically maintain the rated 540 PTO speed regardless of the generator load. Can someone please verify this, and provide your perspectives?
