Throttle stop

I think this is a very good small project. As far as I'm concerned, the green line for the PTO speed is my red line. Especially since several of my pieces of equipment are run on the PTO shaft. On the Jimna 284, with the throttle on the side of the cowling, it was very easy to drill and install 10/24 screws in the throttle bracketing with double nuts for adjustment. The punch line is when we mow we have to slow down to make our turns, so just push the throttle forward and it hits the forward stop right on the PTO line. also put a stop on the idle side to help save the govener shaft and stop. One thing is the foot peddle throttle will over ride the hand throttle, if you do need higher RPMs. We did put a bolt under the foot throttle to take the number 10 shoe pressue off the throttle shaft. I am curious what prompted the need to do this ? You do great quality project work but I guess my inexperience with tractors is showing and I do not understand the need for this.

I was wondering when somebody would come up with something that eliminated a thing that I needed elimenating,,,now having said such,,,,,,,,have you posted this on johns web site yet,,,,we need this,,,,and with pictures if possible,,,some of us,,[me],,are slow in that regard,,,so as much info as you could spare in this,,,,,,,thingy
