If you do straight linkage only thing to fabricate is the base cyl mount which is easy with the tools you have.

Actually, I may have a metal working lathe. Long story of hand me downs, but I think I have it stored in the barn. Haven't thought about it in a while.
If you had to do it over again, would you weld it on instead of using all those bolts? Or some similar load spreading deal?
