Thanks for the very informative pictures and description of the Thumb installs. This is precisely what I'd like to do if the grapple route doesn't work out. I've also never welded in my life, but have been itching to get a welder for just such occasions. Plasma cutter would be cool, too. Good luck with your setup.

A thumb with a tooth bar are great additions.Lighter and cheaper than a full grapple.

Underdog... Your posts / photos made preparing for my modification much easier. I ordered the same set of titan forks and a green-machine thumb. I mounted the thumb pivot bracket a little differently, but the end result was just about the same. The thumb just barely touches the forks at full close.

Nice job;I see too many people add a thumb and leave a big gap between the bucket(in your case fork).
I can pick up a 1" thick rock with ease.I have lots and lots of flat and large rocks;some 6' across.
