Thumb Vs FEL Forks for firewood

I have a grapple thumb on my rock bucket and plan on putting one on my pallet forks as well. The thumb should be easily removed (with pins) on the pallet forks for when you have something tall on the pallet where the thumb could not be retracted enough to move out of the way. For moving logs. lumber, and gathering up brush/trash a thumb grapple on pallet forks would be ideal in my opinion.

When I got my tractor new over 3 years ago part of it was specifically to help with the firewood. Got a Woods backhoe complete with 7 position thumb. Has worked very well for me. Nice to be able to cut up a log standing straight up, much easier on the back, as for lifting some of those heavy rounds, lets just say it's priceless. :thumbsup: :laughing:
