Tier 4 Owners How Often For Regen?

so far so good, after about 25 hours of use. I live in Maine. below 20 degrees it takes awhile to warm up the tractor. My dealer told that mine was the first that Kioti fixed like that. They also said that tech was sending data to Korea and they would send back software updates the next day.

I got mine back yesterday and so far so good. They put in a higher temp thermostat, cleaned the EGR valve, bypassed the EGR, and updated the software. Time will tell if it really fixed it. I'll report back if it happens again.

My NX4510 has around 80 hours. I preheat in cold and always run over 2000rpm and so far haven't had a regen..

Really? I was told that I voided my warranty by popping in a higher temp T-stat and for installing my own third function.

I really need to make a video about it, but the whole episode is upsetting to me as the joy of tractor ownership ended about a year ago.

Eric, Are you serious about this that Kioti voided your warranty for the same work that dealers are doing to cure a problem? You need to copy every post on here where that was done to cure a malfunctioning tractor and send them all to Kioti. I also can't believe that installing your own 3rd function voids a warranty. Keep track of everything you do and have to fix. When and if the time comes that you need expensive warranty work and they refuse, see them in Court.

Kioti, specifically a guy named Tim Fox, refused to fix my tractor's transmission and voided my warranty all without ever even seeing my tractor at a dealership. I suspect that the shift fork is bent from somebody forcing it into gear while it was an on the dealer's lot during its first 7 hours of use.

Because of a thermostat? If so, how did they know you had a different Tstat or third function? How did they tell you your warranty was voided? Do they monitor these forums?
This is why when installing a simple block heater and someone said it voided the warranty, I got it in writing that it didn't.
Sorry to hear your troubles and hopefully it gets straightened out..you were one of their biggest advocates and one reason I got my NX..

I guess that could possibly explain your somewhat silence on your NX60 thread..

Eric, I'm sorry to hear about your issue with Kioti. Do you know any lawyers willing to send them a nice letter?

Verify fluid levels and quality of diesel fuel- get a fresh 5 gal. of fuel from another source perhaps.

Update- After the software update the regens are about every 75 hours. I have 220 hours currently and always keep working while the regen is in progress.
