Tiller Clutch?

Okay, I just bought a TSC tiller 60 inch , several years old, looks like new. There is a shear bolt on the driveline, at connection to the gearbox. How many of you have added a safety , or slip clutch onto the drive shaft?I have yet to connect it to the tractor, but will get the chance tomorrow to check for the length, and take-up of the shaft? I know it must have enough slack to not bottom at full lift.I will be digging up clay, not very many stones, usually smaller than a pinpong ball.jy.

You can add a clutch, but a shear bolt does the job protecting your tiller.

We can provide a add on clutch, If you need one. We would need to know the diameter of the input shaft on the tiller and is it round with 1/2 inch shear bolt or 1 3/8 inch 6 splined? Ken Sweet
