Tiller tiller recommendation for JD 3320?

I just bought one for $1399 plus tax. It was a leftover from last year and the dealer was selling it at last year's price. $1850 sounds a little steep to me, even for this year's price.

$1399 is the regular "every-day" price for the KKII 60" model at TSC around here (western NY). That's up $50 from last year. I was waiting for them to go on sale, but finally gave up and just bought one at regular price.

It works great behind my B3030. Hardly even know it's there. It doesn't pull the engine down at all. Plus it does a really nice job.

The only PITA was that I had to cut the PTO shaft 1.25".

Our local Coastal farm supply has a 5' TG-60-Y KKII for ~$1850.

Our local Tractor Supply has them for $1399.

I do, but I do a lot of custom tilling. If you try tilling some very hard ground like an old dirt lane or a housing construction site for sodding a new lawn they are the only way to go. For the most part, they are a one pass tiller. I have been on some ground that was so hard that after 3 passes with a JD450 tiller I was down 3 inches. The reverse tine Land Pride tiller I have now does not have that problem.

The 60 inch reverse tine tiller for your 3320 will use all the HP you have so don't get in a hurry.
