Tiller size

I pull a 5' KK with my GC2400 18pto hp and It pulls it easy even in red clay. I run about 1500 rpm and have no problems at all. 540 pto is about 2400 rpm.

I don't think everything needs to turn at pto speeds but I recommend you run faster than 1500 rpm's. That can be tough on the engine given time, and fwiw you aren't making more than about 8 to 10 hp at the pto at 1500 rpm.

If you had a hydrostatic transmission the 6' would work but it would be slow at times. But with your geared tractor I would stay with the 5' tiller so you don't end up wagging the dog.
